Greetings loyal Empire citizens.
This System has been identified for expansion of The Empire. You have been selected for your distinguished service, interminable ingenuity, and collaborative creation skills.
The System is comprised of seven planets in orbit around the black hole Tarkin 61. Each planet contains limited resources, of which all are desirable.
With your superior capability to automate, coordinate and communicate, combined with your dexterous little hands we anticipate minimal obstruction to The Empire's growth.
Based on reconnaissance information, you will deploy by rover to establish initial footing on Tessara, A class M planet with atmospheric conditions suited to your biological needs. Resources required to get off planet will be sparse, requiring economic and infrastructural cooperation. Primitive trade networks are already established to leverage and conquer. Initial hostile contact should be scattered and pose minimal threat.
Your mission is to colonize The System via Tessara, establish a permanent communication network, and supply precious mineral from Infernus into The Empire's supply chain. You are authorized to engage hostile threats.
The Empire must grow.

STATUS UNKNOWN.

Corven IV is named after the last Great Emperor of the the Corven-Deuterium Dynasty (CDD). Responsible for mastering fusion energy for space travel, the CDD was the heartbeat of the Sector for over 2,000 years. He dreamt of one day visiting his birthday planet, but fell ill days before his expected departure. Gifted by his father at birth, Corven IV was bestowed the responsibility of re-uniting the Great Sectors following the hypernova of Betelgeuse.

An extremely harsh, resource-rich hellscape. This volcanic world is abundant in the most precious resources and as a result draws the attention of the Sector's most ruthless factions. Conquering the Sector means establishing a permanent resource extraction facility here, and exporting cargo off world into The Empire's trading network.
Default mix: Iron, Nickel, Silicon, Uranium, Platinum, Cobalt, Silver, Magnesium, Gold

Described as the most beautiful planet ever photographed, it receives it's name from the Lady of Waterloo who supported the early proliferation of the The Empire. It illuminates the sky from the surface of Tessara.

An unremarkable satellite in orbit around Tessara, the Emerald of Joanna. Pinto offers a staging ground before further exploration into the System. The Empire should dispatch a small outpost to the object for further study and establish the HUB of a System-wide communication network.
Default mix: Iron, Nickel, Silicon, Cobalt, Silver, Magnesium, Ice, Gold, Platinum

A harsh dessert world at the edge of the System, visited as a mid-station when traveling from Tessara to Bornax, avoiding the gravity field of Tarkin 61.
Default mix: Iron, Nickel, Silicon, Cobalt, Silver, Magnesium, Ice, Gold

An unremarkable black hole, known for its rich mineral concentration among its unforgiving gravity well. Many prospectors have fallen victim the its unescapable grasp under heavy load. Only the toughest factions brave this region of the system. It is named after a fictional character from the earliest age of the Empire.

Identified by Dr. Joanna Grey, Tessara is the 3rd habitable planet discovered by Corven-Deuterium Dynasty (CDD). After a century of travel across the Sector, The Empire finally reaches the Emerald of Joanna. It acts as a safe haven for traveling factions and offers resources and cooperation to support conquest across the System. From Mount Lok at night, one can see Pinto, Corven IV, and BattleWorld in alignment. Raw mammal meet is known to cause severe illness or death.
Default mix: Iron, Nickel, Silicon, Magnesium, Ice

IMBER Corporation
The IMBER Corporation is an expansionist organization engaged in aggressive colonization across multiple systems. It maintains few reliable allies, and even its existing relationships tend to be unstable. IMBER forces respond aggressively to vessels approaching their assets and defend their territorial claims with force. The corporation is currently engaged in territorial contention with IMDC along the corridor between Tessara and Skarat. IMBER is considered hostile, presents a moderate threat.

Interstellar Mining and Defense Corporation (IMDC)
A multinational enterprise that has constructed ships and vehicles since 2031. The corporation operates shipyards throughout much of the known galaxy, while many IMDC-designed vessels are also manufactured under license by independent shipyards. These vessels are widely employed by governments and security companies and can often be acquired at well-equipped stations and docks. IMDC forces are currently engaged in territorial contention with IMBER along the corridor between Tessara and Skarat. IMDC is considered hostile, poses a low-to-moderate threat, and is encountered primarily around Tessara.

Independent Contractors (INCON)
A loose collective of independent ship and station operators unaffiliated with larger organizations such as Imber or Parallax. Although they lack a centralized organization, contractors generally maintain a degree of mutual respect, and cooperation between independent ships and stations is relatively common. These groups are sometimes targeted by larger organizations when they trespass within claimed territories, while some contractors have themselves been known to attack vessels belonging to major factions. INCON is regarded with a wary disposition, presents a low threat, and operates throughout the system.

Mobile Merchants
Mobile Merchants are less a unified faction than a collection of local opportunists, traders, and scavengers traveling between settlements and remote areas to sell their wares. They can be encountered throughout virtually any sector. Although they lack formal organization, merchants communicate with one another and share information about individuals and groups considered safe—or unsafe—for commerce. Mobile Merchants are generally friendly, pose no known threat, and operate throughout the system.
No briefing data available yet.

Parallax Concepts
One of the relatively few major organizations to have established a significant foothold across multiple planetary systems. While the organization does not appear to actively seek violence or conflict, its forces are more than capable of defending themselves when threatened. Parallax maintains ceasefire agreements with several other major groups, including an uneasy arrangement with IMBER that has repeatedly approached open hostilities due to territorial disputes. Parallax is considered hostile, presents a moderate threat, and operates primarily along the Skarat–Bornax corridor.

Pravda Heavy Industries
Aa major warship manufacturing organization whose vessels are recognizable by their distinctive combination of naval battleship architecture and marine-predator characteristics, particularly those resembling sharks. The resulting leviathan-like warships have earned a formidable reputation among those unfortunate enough to be considered their prey. Pravda publicly maintains that it is a neutral entity within the sectors where it operates, though numerous reports contradict this claim. Vessels approaching Pravda assets are frequently fired upon, and Pravda ships have been observed attacking assets belonging to major organizations such as IMBER. Unconfirmed reports further suggest that Pravda Heavy Industries may serve as a front for a large pirate organization with broader and potentially more sinister ambitions. Pravda is considered hostile, presents a moderate-to-high threat, and operates primarily in deep space between Bornax and Corven IV.

REAVERS
Very little reliable information has been collected about the Reavers. No surveillance probes or reconnaissance teams dispatched into Reaver Space are known to have returned. Local sources report that Reavers have not been observed near inhabited planets for several years and are believed to have withdrawn into the black, with little expectation that they will return. They are said to be the former inhabitants of a once-prosperous world that they subsequently destroyed, burning the land and boiling the seas without any discernible strategic objective. Local consensus attributes their transformation to an atmospheric chemical event that induced mass psychosis, though this explanation remains unconfirmed.
Reavers are extremely hostile, represent an extreme threat, and are associated with the black hole, deep space, and the region between Infernus and Corven IV. They should be avoided whenever possible—and if you come, come correct.

The Empire emerged from the ashes of the Corven-Deuterium Dynasty (CDD) after an age of rapid resource extraction and industrial flame-out. Mother acted with haste to preserve critical infrastructure and continue expansion while much of humanity fell ill to famine and acts of self-annihilation. Since the death of Alistair Corven IV, The Empire continues forward as the driving force of colonization in the known Universe.
The Empire must grow.

Trade Operators Coalition (TOC)
The Trade Operators Coalition is a group of merchants that organized into a formidable economic force across several systems. Their stations can be found on planets and throughout outer space, typically operating within their own individual territories rather than clustering together. TOC stations offer a variety of commercial services, including buying and selling goods, refueling, shipyard services, and Suit Upgrade Modules. The Coalition is considered friendly, presents no known threat, and can be encountered throughout the system, particularly along established trade corridors.

United Terran Coalition (UTC)
A highly organized military power that functions as a government within sectors under its control and as a private military organization elsewhere. Coalition forces are aggressive and strongly prioritize UTC interests, territorial authority, and economic objectives. While UTC vessels will generally leave independent ships alone, they respond aggressively to anyone approaching military assets and may actively hunt vessels belonging to rival factions. Individuals or organizations with an established record of hostility toward the UTC may be attacked on sight. Conversely, those who repeatedly work in the Coalition's interests can eventually earn its allegiance, gaining access to UTC stations and supply drops. The UTC is considered hostile, presents a high threat, and operates primarily around Bornax and deep space.
No briefing data available yet.

Wasteland Tire Thieves (WTT)
The Tire Thieves are essentially land-based pirates operating primarily on Tessara. They are poorly organized, and their vehicles are generally maintained in poor condition, limiting their ability to pose a serious threat to prepared forces. Their equipment can nevertheless provide a convenient source of salvage and replacement components. The Tire Thieves are hostile, but their overall threat level is considered low.
